Board to consider UDO Revision from the Commissioners:
· Article 3.04 H.6: –Liability Insurance: The Landowner of the personal property allowing a CSES, shall show proof of (personal) liability insurance of no less than 2 million dollars, with proof of liability submitted no less than every three (3) years to the Legislative body and the Zoning Administrator. Additionally, the owner/operator of the commercial solar energy system shall submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance annually to the County Commissioners and the Zoning Administrator throughout the lifetime of the project. The Certificate of Liability Insurance shall list Noble County as an additional insured. Required insurance specifications shall include:
· Article 3.04 P Operation and Maintenance & Article 9.10 I.2 Surety Updates: adjust the re-examination time frame to be every 3 years (as opposed to the current every 5 years).
2. New Business
Rezone #590 Mosier, Larry L & Lavonne ETAL - In accordance with the Unified Development Ordinance (Article 9.22) requests a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone 8.03+/- ac from Production Ag (A1) District to Low-Intensity Industrial (I1) District to allow for the permitted uses in the I1 zoning district, specifically Warehouse “Self-Storage” / outdoor Recreational Vehicle/Boat storage. Real estate is located in Section 30 of Noble Township, quadrant 300, parcel 003, common location known as East of 5704 W. 500 S. Columbia City, IN. Final consideration by the Noble County Commissioners on 1/13/2025 at 10:00 AM at 109 N York St., Albion, IN
Board Discussion regarding possible UDO Revisions – to consider scheduling a public hearing regarding:
· Defining Winery, Brewery and Distillery
o Article 5 - Winery, Brewery, and Distillery Development Standards
· Article 5.66 – Telecommunication Facility Standards
· Article 9.16, 9.18, and 9.19 – minor adjustments to the subdivision processes
· Correct the Land Use Matrix
